Alvin Lustig

Alvin Lustig was an amazing graphic designer. Much of his work was seen on book covers, but he also had a big part in some amazing ad campaigns in the 40's and early 50's. You can see his entire campaign for Knoll done in Arts & Architecture Magazine.

Pamela Love

Pamela Love is one of my favorite jewelry designers. Her pieces are amazing and I hope to one day be able to afford her talon cuff. You can purchase them on her website or through my favorite online shop Bona Drag.

Mat Brinkman - my favorite comic book

Mulitforce by Mat Brinkman is definitely one of my all time favorite comic books. I purchased it last fall at a art/comic book store in Chicago. I don't even know how to describe it. It's so intricate and densely drawn. You can purchase your copy here.

Justin Nelson

Justin Nelson is an artist from Tampa, FL. You can purchase his work through Little Paper Planes. The beautiful and strange execution of his subjects are right up my alley.

Here’s a sneak peek at the gargantuan 8-foot fiberglass totem that Brian Flynn created for Friday’s show. Insane! Be sure to come out for a great show featuring a performance by Petticoat in the courtyard at 9pm.

Originally from Texas and now living in San Francisco, Brian Flynn is a graphic designer by trade, and his work celebrates an extreme love for illustration and japanese pop-culture. To say that Brian is a busy man, is a major understatement. His impressive client list includes Juxtapoz, Nike, and Microsoft, and Brian and his wife Dora are the genius behind Hybrid Design, Hybrid Home, Super7 magazine, and the Super7 Store in San Francisco.

About ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’:

Banksy is a graffiti artist whose global reputation and work can be seen on walls from post—hurricane New Orleans to the separation barrier on the Palestinian West Bank. Fiercely guarding his anonymity to avoid prosecution, Banksy has so far resisted all attempts to be captured on film. Exit Through the Gift Shop tells the incredible true story of how an eccentric French shop keeper turned documentary maker attempted to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner – with spectacular results. The film contains exclusive footage of Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Invader,s and many of the world’s most infamous graffiti artists at work, on walls and in interview. As Banksy describes it, “It’s basically the story of how one man set out to film the un—filmable. And failed.”
