I hope everyone had a safe and fabulous New Year's Eve. I was in LA. I have to admit, it's starting to become a second home. I love and miss my friends there. Leaving was so much harder this time.
So, what are your resolutions? I normally don't really have any. This year I have two. I promise to be better about posting in 2010. The other is a secret that I'll probably be posting more about later in the year.

Lisa is an artist from Calgary, Alberta, who makes woodcuts using salvaged hundred year old Douglas fir. She doesn't make prints from them, as she prefers the blocks themselves. They are bright, graphic, post-Pop portraits in series. She has an upcoming show starting Feb 13th at Yard Dog gallery in Austin.
Kelly Tunstall currently has some beautiful work available to purchase online at the Fecal Face Dot Gallery. Above are some of her beautiful collaborations with Ferris Plock from a show they did last year.
