Threadless.com is celebrating their ten-year anniversary with their first book. Threadless, by co-founder Jake Nickell, documents their rise from a small offshoot of dreamless.org (R.I.P) to their current empire-of-awesome status. It's the compelling story of a fearless group of accidental entrepreneurs who somehow manage to inspire graphic designers, puzzle business schools, and get a lot of grown men and women to wear novelty t-shirts.
The book features contributions from Seth Godin and John Maeda and a gorgeous layout design from A-Side Studio which uses playful, effective typography and bold color choices to highlight the art and artists of the Threadless community. Check it out. It's a fun, quick, unpretentious read that's a good reminder of why Threadless matters.
