Chris Ware is another of my favorite illustrators. I learned about him originally through This American Life and subsequently got to know his work even better through 826 Valencia and McSweeney's. Chris Ware has several comic books that he's published, the most well known being the Acme Novelty Library. I highly recommend picking up a copy for yourself.
